You don’t believe in magic
Mahnoor Jalil
But don’t you think it’s strange?
Everything since billions of years
Never really changed.
The sky above your heads
Is blue since it was born
The earth below you
Is strong as your thoughts
The stars you see
Is seen by many before you
The tears you shed
Got many hopes and hues.
You may not believe in magic
But I think you should know
The making of you
Is decided billions of years ago.
So next time you feel lonely
Know that this world resides in you
Hold the power of your thoughts
And tell the world it belongs to you.
You may still not believe in magic
But don’t you think if it’s true?
Nothing ever really changed
Except for the stardust we wished was true.
