The show begins with twists and turns
Manahil Waqas
A child not so bright was ridiculed from the very start
Her grades were used against her to mock her But that’s ok
It’s ok to mock children who don’t have a brain and so mental health is merely a word
A child not so bright spent her childhood in arms of chaos
She saw all the games
And understand all the psychological games
But she kept quiet
Years passed and she lived but befriended childhood trauma
She tried to raise her voice against injustice and stood for her mother and sister
But powerful are those with money and tricks And so her voice was oppressed
She saw people with two faces on left and right While talking to her they claimed to be on her side
Whereas on her back they planned to torture her day and night
They chose words as their weapon and we all know when played right words can shatter one’s soul
But that’s ok
A child not so bright doesn’t have a brain
So mental health is merely a word
A fighter never retires she read in fairy tales Again this foolish child raised her voice against oppression
But powerful are those with money and tricks That day they said with a sly smile her mother didn’t raise her well
They knew they couldn’t silence her
So they blamed and ridiculed her mother
By only using words and no other weapon
She was a child not so bright
It’s ok to torture and shatters children’s soul Because they don’t have a brain
And so mental health is merely a word.
