Life is absent of all cheers,
Javeria Ashfaq
This world whispered sour words in my ears.
Now no one is dear,
My mirror self, only you are near.
You treated me with a constant care,
But In life, I had walked bare.
That hasn’t yet been fair,
To bring again fake-promises pair
I saw, losing you; a nightmare,
But, I was still unaware.
I seek genuine love everywhere,
But alas; couldn’t find it anywhere.
The love for you, I never declare,
From pains, every time you help me repair.
Yet despair is still in the air,
How can I live without you, here?
Haven’ had a single second of spare.
I stand silently here,
And cry oceans of tears,
For re-gaining you, I pledged in my prayers.
You won’t find me without my fears,
Oh! Please do not bring back my tears.
Saddest reality is my life, gravely severe.
Oh, mirror self, be kind and sincere.
Come back to me with your silent glare,
My confusions are all clear.
Will never pick the choice to compare,
I will never ignore you, I swear.
Make this a blissful year,
Oh, mirror life; do not jeer.
Come Back Myself
